How EXA Infrastructure reaches beyond telecoms at ITW

 

EXA Infrastructure is a company that offers connectivity infrastructure to customers in various verticals across the economy and around the world, with over 150,000km of fibre network.

This includes mission-critical networks for governments and enterprises, low-latency solutions for banking and gaming, underlay networks for the world's connectivity providers, and more - a hugely varied and distributed customer base, and one that spans 34 countries.

Since 2021 alone, EXA Infrastructure has invested over $300 million in expanding its network. With this growth comes an even greater need to build partnerships across the entire connectivity ecosystem to serve a broad range of buyers - at the same time as maintaining the inter-carrier relationships that every provider needs to deliver excellent customer service.

Preparation: at least three months in advance

 

While EXA make the most of the expertise of the ITW team to streamline the process, the company still makes sure to leave enough time to make the most of their investment in ITW participation.

If a company turns up in National Harbor with no meetings arranged, no sales material with them, and no plan for approaching the three days of the event, its effectiveness will be severely limited. EXA recommends starting preparations by February at the latest to ensure optimal exposure, business engagement, and a seamless experience.

ITW is an essential event for anyone in the telecom industry. The value of bringing together the full spectrum of customers, partners, and suppliers in one place cannot be overstated. Face-to-face interactions at ITW are incredibly powerful, accelerating the sales process and building trust in ways that virtual meetings simply can't match.

How can you ensure ROI at ITW?

While meeting numbers and leads generated onsite are important markers of a successful trade event, EXA want to stress the importance of a metric that has a longer-term payoff - tapping into the wealth of industry expertise shared on the ITW stages.

For first-time attendees, my advice is simple: meet as many peers and companies as possible, and don't miss the opportunity to attend some of the panels. While business meetings are, of course, the primary focus, the wealth of industry expertise shared on stage is an invaluable resource that should not be overlooked.
