Scott Mills is Sr. Vice President, Engineering and Customer Solutions at Digital Realty. Scott has worked in the data center and telecommunication industry for nearly 20 years in various roles. He is charged with leading Digital Realty’s global Product Management and Solution Engineering organizations; supporting a structured technical solution selling approach focused on educating customers and partners on Digital Realty’s value proposition, and building customer engagement frameworks for deep technical discovery, ensuring design quality, service reach and maximum total cost of ownership. Ultimately, guiding Digital Realty to deliver the right products to the right customers in the right markets.
Prior to Digital Realty, Scott lead cloud business development at Equinix where he was responsible for evaluating new market opportunities as well as identifying and solidifying strategic alliances that deliver increased business value to Equinix customers and partners and expand the addressable market for dedicated network to public and private cloud. Prior to Equinix, Scott held senior product and business development roles at Qwest, Motorola Mobility and TW telecom.
Scott holds a Master’s in Communication from Ball State University, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder.
