
David Young
David Young is Head of U.S. Federal and Americas Public Policy and Government Affairs at Equinix, one the world’s largest data center operators. In this role, he is responsible for strategy development and execution of Equinix’s policy agenda before the U.S. Federal government and with the governments of Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, and Peru.
Prior to Equinix, David spent more than a decade in government affairs at The Boeing Company where he led or worked on a wide variety of policy issues including corporate, aerospace and defense, digital transformation, and services (where he was the primary federal lobbyist for a $7Bn/yr business line). David has also spent time working as a policy consultant, for a Veterans Service Organization, and on the Hill.
A graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, David lives in Washington, DC with his wife Morgan and their husky-mix Sir Edmund.
