For four exhilarating days, the mighty city of Atlanta will host International Telecoms Week (ITW) 2019. It’s a brand new home for the event, the inaugural Year Dot for ITW in Atlanta, but as you’ll soon come to realise, there really isn’t anything quite like Southern Hospitality.

With a full daytime agenda buzzing with challenging and informative panel discussions, forward-thinking presentations and some wonderful exhibitions, you’ll still find plenty of time for all-important networking, and also for exploring this thriving city from our base in the Downtown area.

During the day, you’ll find great team-building options on your doorstep – take a studio tour of CNN (a real eye-opener to our 24-hour news culture), and sample over 100 different variations of the world’s most iconic drink at Coca-Cola World

In the evenings, you can explore all that Downtown has to offer. ITW attendees will also get a 15% discount at Ray’s in the City, which boasts some of the finest seafood in the area (which, trust us, is really saying something), and 10% off at The Consulate, which might just be serving Atlanta’s best and most inventive cocktails right now.

Other great haunts in the Downtown area include the rooftop bars SkyLounge and WetBar, exclusive speakeasy Red Phone Booth, or local pubs Park Bar, Meehan’s, and Der Biergarten.

North-east of Downtown you’ll find the Atlanta’s food and fashion hub in Old Fourth Ward. Why not take the team to the nearby Ponce City Market – just a five minute cab from the ITW venue - where you’ll find boutique shops, amazing food halls, and spectacular views of the city. End the day with a pit stop at 9 Mile Station, popular roof top beer garden with unobstructed views of Atlanta’s skyline (make sure you book a table in advance).

Head further north and you’ll find some of the best nightspots in Atlanta in the Midtown area, include the world-famous Vortex Bar & Grill, Park Tavern, McCray’s Tavern and Establishment, the place to see and be seen.

The Atlanta Braves are taking on the Chicago Cubs during our stay – watch in any local sports bar (STATS is a great option) and get a feel for the local sports culture. You’ll find open mic nights at the always-popular comedy club the Laughing Skull Lounge, or culture vultures can feast on the acclaimed new musical Come From Away, which will be showing at the Fox Theater.

However you choose to enjoy this year’s event, we welcome you, Atlanta welcomes you. Have a truly great time at ITW 2019.
