Sam Barnett is a Go To Market (GTM) leader at Cohere and is currently responsible for leading the Energy & Utilities, Telecommunications, and Healthcare & Life Sciences industry verticals. Sam has been with Cohere for three years and is one of the original members of the Go To Market team after joining Cohere in 2023. Prior to Cohere Sam was a Strategic Enterprise Sales leader at Twilio where he helped launch and lead the Retail industry vertical focused on supporting the F100 of Retail. Prior to Twilio Sam was at Salesforce where he delivered digital transformation for Enterprise customers across many industries including telecommunications. Sam started his career as a financial analyst in the investment banking division at Goldman Sachs in New York. He graduated from Columbia University with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and competed as a 4-year varsity letterman on the rowing team. Sam is a San Francisco native and currently lives in the city with his wife and two children.
