Daniel Stepanicich
Dan Stepanicich is the Chief of the FCC Enforcement Bureau’s Telecommunications Consumers Division where he leads the FCC’s robocalling, privacy, and accessibility enforcement efforts. Previously he was the Deputy Chief of the Division’s robocalling work where he led multiple TCPA and Truth in Caller ID Act investigations resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars in civil penalties. Dan has also crafted the Enforcement Bureau’s robocall cease-and-desist initiative and robocall mitigation database enforcement efforts. He joined the Enforcement Bureau in 2016 and has worked on robocall matters for the past decade. Dan has a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
