Daniel Stepanicich
Daniel Stepanicich is the Deputy Division Chief in the FCC Enforcement Bureau’s Telecommunications Consumers Division and oversees the Division’s robocalling and robotexting investigations. In this role he collaborates with industry and governmental stakeholders on combatting and mitigating illegal robocall schemes. He has worked on the Commission’s largest forfeiture orders including investigations into fraudulent auto warranty and health insurance robocalling schemes. Daniel implemented the Bureau’s successful cease-and-desist and mandatory call blocking framework, which has resulted in a measurable decline in illegal robocalls. He also leads the Division’s international engagement on robocall and robotexting matters. He has worked at the Commission for nearly 10 years. Daniel received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
