Carl Roberts has worked in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry for over 35 years in global, senior executive and board positions in IBM, MCI WorldCom, Verizon, Global One and Epsilon Telecommunications. He has a proven track record in M&A & corporate strategy, corporate governance, international marketing and sales, business development, transformation & restructuring.

As co-founder and Partner of Hadaara Consulting, Carl provides management and strategic advisory services to

the C-suite and boards of directors of ICT companies, private equity and new venture groups worldwide. He recently joined Teneo as a Senior Advisor after having been a long-standing Senior Advisor to FTIDelta. Carl advises on a broad range of disciplines to ICT companies, specializing in organizational restructuring, business transformation, developing both organic and inorganic growth strategies for telecom operators, data center providers and subsea operators. Based in Dubai, he provides advice to clients in Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe and the USA.  Carl also provides advice to startups and holds numerous advisory board positions.

Carl is a frequent speaker and panelist at global and regional ICT conferences, addressing the challenges and opportunities of the industry and the digital future. He has also published articles on how Dubai is developing its digital infrastructure and how software is starting to dominate the connectivity industry.

In 2015, Carl was awarded the first ever Capacity Media Lifetime Achievement Award “in recognition of a remarkable career and contribution to the development and education of the industry”.

A British citizen, Carl holds a Master’s Degree in Languages & Politics from Oxford Brookes University (UK), is   fluent in French, Italian and Spanish and a resident of Dubai.
